Corey “Mitch” Mitchell
Mitch is a seasoned musician and a founding member of his current project Stormy Creek Co. as well as co-founding former groups Freight Train Jaine and the renowned Macey Gard Band.
\With a passion for music that spans his entire life, Mitch’s journey included being a co-founder of the successful music trio Carlyle (2001-2008).
During their run, Carlyle’s hit song earned the distinction of being voted “Best Song” on a national double CD that went on to win “Best Compilation Album of the Year” at the 2008 Portland Music Awards, where Mitch and his band also performed.
Other current projects include performing with Kaitlyn Marie Band and as an acoustic duo with his friend Doug Johnson!
Doug Johnson has quite an extensive music resume with Portland Metro bands such as Rogue River, Silver Creek, Jimmie Lloyd Rea & the Switchmakers.
The last two years Doug and Corey “Mitch” Mitchell have been making music together as a duo playing wineries, pubs, festivals and special events.
