DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Tasting Room from 4-6pm for live music.\nNo cover- Just live music\, great wine and delicious food! \nReservations \nThe Do-Rights is a recently formed quartet of musicians who love to play classic jazz tunes for cocktail hour.\nEvan Landman is a jazz guitarist who takes inspiration from mid-century legends Grant Green\, Barney Kessel and Kenny Burrell\, whose recordings helped to define the vinyl sound of 1990s hip hop and electronic production. He seeks to recreate in his playing the feeling of coming across a beguiling jazz guitar sample on a dusty dollar bin record for the first time. \nJesse Richter began their career playing punk\, rock\, alternative country\, and jam band styles before moving to Portland\, where they became a sought-after indie rock collaborator and pedal steel player. While studying jazz and big band music in college\, they discovered a deep passion for Django Reinhardt and swing\, ultimately dedicating their career to blending these influences into a unique and dynamic musical style. \nBernardo Gomez started playing bass in 6th grade. By high school he was accepted into The Portland Youth Philharmonic. He received a music scholarship to Mt Hood the University of Arizona. After college he got back to his Latin roots learning music from Mexico to Peru. Today he can be found playing many different styles around Oregon and Washington. \nJessica Hughes started as a studio dancer from Kansas who discovered the Lindy Swing Dance community in Portland\, OR\, which led to becoming a vocalist for the “Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band” (a swing band of dancers for dancers) in 2021. Her musical past includes violin\, saxophone\, guitar\, ukulele\, and piano\, but recently has only focused on singing.

Breedlove Artist. \nAn all-new original record is in progress\, planning to be released in Fall 2024. \nCovers EP “Front Porch” was digitally released Nov 2022\, Van Kleef is currently booking solo gigs as well as duos with Jim Walker\, longtime Portland musician. Both Jim and Michele played several gigs with their late\, mutual friend Tim Ellis. But never really played together. Until now. The circle has come around completely and they’re currently playing as a duo. \nVan Kleef’s 2nd solo record\, “Your Own Way”\, is an eclectic mix of musical styles and was recorded at Portland’s Kung Fu Bakery Recording Studios. Led by the incomparable\, late Producer/Guitarist Tim Ellis\, and featuring stellar Hall & Oates drummer Michael Braun\, Troy Welstad (Pink\, A Fine Frenzy\, Hilary Duff) on keyboards\, and Jamin Swenson on bass. Rock Violinist\, Aaron Meyer added his talents to a couple tracks as well as Calobo bandmate\, Caleb Klauder\, on mandolin and Carl Smith on percussion throughout. \nThe first solo album “After All” features her soulful voice\, memorable melodies and storytelling lyrics. The record was mixed by Tchad Blake (2x Grammy Award Winner for Sheryl Crow and Suzanne Vega) and includes legendary bass player Tony Levin plus Nate Query from The Decemberists. Three tracks from this record were played in all Starbucks coffee houses worldwide\, as well as on three episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. \nPrior to recording her solo ventures\, Michele was a singer in the very successful\, NW-based band\, Calobo. The Indie band toured the U.S. for over 6 years and released 5 records. After Calobo disbanded\, 2 of the members helped found the Decemberists. Calobo’s 2012 reunion mini tour was met with thousands of nostalgic fans and great success.\nMichele’s next project was leading the Seattle based trio\, Mackabella (Lazy Bones Recordings).
